This is a 1320 ton Trane Centravac chiller that was recently overhauled. Rigging space was very tight with low ceiling height in relation to the motor height. Motor weight exceeds 3000 lbs. so special rigging requirements were necessary. Custom Chiller has all the rigging tools needed to complete the project.
Tube brushing is one of many services Custom Chiller offers. Having condenser tubes brushed annually can help reduce erosion of copper and blockages that could lead to more expensive repairs or chiller malfunction.
Here we replaced an old Liebert unit, pictured left, with a new unit. Care was taken to replace the line set and ensure that proper pitch was adhered to between the indoor and outdoor units. The new indoor unit was much smaller in physical size than the old unit so we had to retrofit the duct work to make it functional.
